Professional Statute for Occupational Health Services

This statute relates to the professional conduct of all individual experts involved in the provision of occupational health services, whether employed by invita arbo or operating independently on its behalf. This includes, but is not limited to:
- The occupational physician
- The higher safety specialist
- The occupational hygienist
- The occupational and organisational specialist
invita arbo takes the necessary measures to ensure compliance with the following rules of professional conduct for the above-mentioned experts in its service and/or for its own professional conduct:
- The expert acts in accordance with current scientific knowledge, professional practice and the guidelines of the relevant professional bodies, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
- The expert acts in accordance with current scientific knowledge, professional practice and the guidelines of the relevant professional bodies, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
- The expert holds the required registration and qualifications in accordance with the rules of the relevant professional body and shall not act under a professional title without meeting these requirements;
- The expert engages other expertise in a timely manner where the situation requires this, or advises on the involvement of additional expertise;
- The expert complies with all legal requirements regarding the protection of privacy. The expert maintains confidentiality of all information obtained in the course of their professional activities which they know or reasonably suspect to be confidential;
invita arbo takes the necessary measures to ensure compliance with the following rules of professional conduct for the above-mentioned experts in its service and/or for its own professional conduct:
- Ensures the continuity of its services, in particular occupational health care, in all cases through experts employed by the organisation or through contractual cooperation with other service providers;
- Ensures that experts are given the opportunity to maintain their knowledge and skills (training) at an appropriate level, so that they continue to meet the registration and certification requirements of their professional body.
